Last year I joined a tag swap with Art Queens of Australia. The brief was to decorate it any way I liked, just include texture. Considering that's my favourite thing, I was in my element!     I used a mix of products including watercolours, gesso, dylusions ink, serviette, gouache paints, washi tape and machine stitching.

Today is the release of the new Christmas sketches from Page Drafts!

 

 

 

I chose this particular sketch below to create a journal page.

 

 

I wanted to show that you can use a sketch other than for scrapbooking.  I know that it's not Christmassy, somehow I kind of missed that when designing this layout! (I know!!!  I don't think I've started channelling the festive spirit yet!)  Anyhoo, I used both hand cut and bought stencils, scrapbooking patterned paper, washi tape, doilies, stamping, a transparency, a punch and ink. I was amazed at how easy it came together.
