I started this page off with a stencil experiment that went awry and wondered what the heck am I going to do with this. I'm always kind of anxious when I do a page, is it perfect? it is good enough? does it have meaning? (what is that anyway?) so to start off on a page that I already deemed ruined I didn't have any inhibitions or worries about what I put on it. I felt very free. I used the scraps and offcuts on my desk and just stuck them down. From there added my favourite textures, covered up more mistakes and kept going with the crackle paint and spritzing until I was happy. This has to be one of my favourite pages. Lesson learnt: LET GO!!!!

'SERENDIPITY'
This layout is for a swap that I'm involved in with a lovely group - 'Art Queens of Australia'. There is some amazing work coming from these ladies and we're always looking for new members!

'Follow it...'
I love using different mediums on my pages and recycling old projects that I'm unhappy with. This step by step tutorial has two techniques that I love, one of which my lovely friend Em came up with! Don't be chicken, go on and have a go!!!

Today is my 'SOMEDAY'
I have a new catch-phrase for this new chapter in my life - Today is my ‘SOMEDAY’.
You know that saying, “someday I’m gonna do that, someday
I’m gonna go there”, well my ‘someday’ is now!
After spending years
dithering about what I want to do and who I want to be when I grow up, I’ve
finally found the path I want to walk. What a relief to finally have a
direction! I’d like to welcome you all to my blog and hopefully we can journey
some of the way together.
